Sound of transitions

2025 - NOW

An apartment building with several windows and balconies, partly obscured by leafless trees, with a grassy area in the foreground.

Sound of Transitions marks my first project as a sound artist and also the first in the series A Sonic Exploration of Everyday Life. The work is a sonic exploration of urban movement, treating public space as a living musical score. Filmed across transitional zones, the project translates human movement, infrastructure, and environmental interaction into sound. Each video functions as a graphic score, where people, vehicles, and spatial elements generate rhythms, textures, and harmonies as they move through the frame. Drawing from soundscape studies and ambient practices, the work reveals the hidden musical structures of everyday transit, designed as passive sound meant to coexist with its environment.
